Beemster Royaal Gouda has that farm-fresh sweet cream flavor with notes of almond and a dense, creamy texture. Aged 4 months, it’s a young Gouda, but complex. Made from cow’s milk. This distinction can only be awarded to companies by the ruling monarch of Holland. In order to be selected for a royal appointment, companies must have a deep-rooted history in Holland (at least 100 years or longer), have an exceptional reputation and represent vibrant Dutch culture.
